Platform Terms

These Platform Terms govern your access to and use of the Learn Earn Burn website, applications, and related services ("the platform"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. What we do

Learn Earn Burn provides information, tools, and reminders to help you optimise loyalty points, credit-card rewards, frequent-flyer programmes, and related switching or referral opportunities. We identify opportunities, track deadlines, and can help you manage the paperwork - but we do not make financial decisions on your behalf.

2. No automated actions without your approval

We will never automatically open an account, apply for a credit product, switch a provider, cancel a service, or claim a reward without your explicit, informed approval. Any action that could change your financial position or create a contractual relationship is presented to you for confirmation first. You remain solely responsible for the decisions you approve.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the platform. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately.

4. Your data and residency

Your personal data - including your name, email, profile, history, and marketing preferences - is stored in the country you select as your country of residence (for example, Australia or New Zealand). Only a minimal central registry (user ID, home country, and account status) is held outside that country. This is how we meet data sovereignty requirements. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

5. Referrals, rewards, and partners

The platform may surface referral links, partner offers, or affiliate relationships. We may receive a fee or commission when you use these links, but we only recommend products or services we believe are genuinely valuable. Reward tracking is provided as a convenience; final eligibility and payment are determined by the partner, not by us.

6. Fees and billing

Core features of the platform may be offered free of charge. Where paid plans or partner services are available, fees and billing terms will be shown clearly before you commit. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are in your local currency and exclude applicable taxes.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the platform to violate any law, infringe on the rights of others, distribute harmful code, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with the platform's operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

8. Intellectual property

All content, branding, software, and designs on the platform are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learn Earn Burn is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD $100 if you have not paid anything.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
